There are lots of options for accommodations. The wedding venue, Jardines del Castillo, is a 20-minute car ride from the San Juan airport and only about 30-40 minutes from Old San Juan. If you're coming in from out of town and want to stay in San Juan, Ubers are abundant and you shouldn't have any issues getting from San Juan to the venue and back.

We will be hosting BBQ and Brunch activities for family and out-of-town friends. Both take place at Hacienda Azucena in Río Grande. Although the location is only about 20 minutes farther from San Juan, it will be harder to Uber to and from here. Río Grande is home to spectacular beaches as well as the El Yunque rainforest.

There are lots of AirBnB options with great views that offer a different experience than staying in the city. There are options for couples or large groups, all at reasonable rates.

At the San Juan Airport, you'll have your pick of standard global car rental companies: Hertz, Alamo, Sixt, Enterprise, etc.

There are also local options outside the airport, like Charlie Car and Dollar, that tend to be good deals and you avoid any lines at the airport.

For US travelers, your phone will work normally, you don't need power adapters, nor a passport, and the island uses USD. Anything you leave behind you will be able to find here. Puerto Rico is a great place to practice your Spanish, but you should have no issue getting around in English.
